Pamela & Andrew | Orange Tree House Wedding
I love an Orange Tree House wedding. Created from a church dating back to the 1820’s, the stone barn style main room, with its original exposed beams, is the perfect setting for a wedding!

Following the bridal prep it was off to the ceremony at Glenabbey Church. Before the afternoon celebrations got into full swing we managed to avoid the odd rain shower and get some photos on the way to Orange Tree House at an old mill.

After the meal Pamela & Andrew we saw the tide was out and walked down to the lough to get some final photos in the beautiful blue light on Strangford Lough.
Northern Ireland Wedding | Romy & Ryan
Wedding Photography in Northern Ireland. Beautiful & creative documentary Belfast wedding photographer.
Romy & Ryan’s incredible and colourful wedding took place at Romy’s parents’ house in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. They set up an amazing stretch tent in their garden to host all their guests.

The day kicked off for me photographing the girls at Romy’s parents’ house, also known as Pancake House. It was really impressive to arrive there to see the work they had put in to create such an amazing venue at their home. The relaxed vibe they were going for with their wedding was evident right from the start.

The ceremony took place at All Saints’ Church in Belfast where Romy & Ryan met and worked together. On the way back to Pancake House we stopped for photos at Romy’s family church. We got back to the house and everyone was enjoying the chilled vibes, playing lawn games and enjoying the amazing food and drinks! The rest of their photos took place on the amazing grounds at the house.
Check out some of their wedding photos from Pancake House, Banbridge, Northern Ireland.

Larchfield Estate Wedding | Iulia & Turlough
Wedding photography at Larchfield Estate.
I love a Larchfield Estate wedding, this is one of my favourite wedding venues in Northern Ireland. It was actually the venue where I shot my first wedding!
Just 15 minutes from Belfast Larchfield extends to 600 acres and includes peaceful forest and woodland alongside picturesque river banks. Steeped in history, Larchfield’s heritage dates back to the 1600’s. Larchfield Estate just radiates ambiance, peace and tranquillity. A perfect setting to get married. It’s very easy to see how this is a photographers dream venue.

Although I’ve shot many weddings at Larchfield, this was the only one I had there in 2018 so I was super excited to be shooting there again. Especially since I knew Iulia & Turlough would have organised such a brilliant day for their guests!

Iulia had been planning from the USA while Turlough was still living in Northern Ireland. Wedding planning can be tricky enough when doing it locally so it’s super impressive that they brought together such a fab wedding from afar. We managed to meet up around Christmas the previous year to do an engagement shoot at the Antrim coast. You can check that out here.
Iulia had been hoping for an outdoor ceremony in Larchfield’s beautiful gardens. But on the morning of the wedding it looked like the weather may have had other ideas. While photographing the bridal preparations in the morning I was on the phone with those working at Larchfield to make sure we could go ahead with the outdoor ceremony.
